Who we are

Hearthlore is an independent mythology storytelling brand that publishes cinematic retellings of Greek, Norse, Egyptian, and other myths on YouTube and related platforms.

The website

The website at thehearthlore.com is a static informational site. It does not use cookies, does not run analytics or advertising trackers, and does not collect personal information from visitors.

The Hearthlore application

Hearthlore operates an application that connects to third-party platform APIs, including the Pinterest API, in order to publish and organize Hearthlore’s own content.

Information accessed

Through these APIs, the application accesses only the Hearthlore-owned accounts’ own data, such as:

• Boards and Pins, in order to create and organize content
• Basic account profile information, in order to confirm the authenticated account

The application does not access, request, or process data belonging to any other users of those platforms.

How we use it

Accessed data is used solely to publish and organize Hearthlore’s own artwork and video content. We do not use it for advertising, profiling, or any unrelated purpose.

Storage and sharing

API access tokens are stored locally on the operator’s own computer and are not transmitted to any third party. We do not sell, rent, or share data obtained through these APIs.

Retention

We retain only the access tokens required to operate the accounts. Tokens can be revoked at any time from the relevant platform’s settings, after which the application loses all access.

Children’s privacy

Hearthlore’s content and services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
